129: Why consistency and persistence are the keys to building a successful business with Jack Gibson

Jack's entrepreneurial journey has one major thread through it- consistency and persistence. Today's conversation really boils down why those two concepts are critical for your business to succeed.

Jack began his entrepreneurial journey at 19 and founded his first company at the ripe old age of 21.  Operating a successful nutrition consulting and distribution company, he had built a multi-million dollar venture before he was old enough to rent a car.

Soon after, he bought his first home as an investment. One quickly became five, and then the bug hit. He became obsessed with learning everything about Real Estate Investing and soon had over 50 investment properties generating passive income. Today, Jack spends his time mentoring other entrepreneurs, building his real estate investment portfolio, and helping other investors to build a brighter future through the power of turnkey real estate income.

126: Climbing your way up the real estate investment ladder with Jeff Schechter

Let's talk real estate. Real estate is one of those topics that you should at least know the basics of no matter what your career path is.

In today's interview, I dive into real estate investing principles with Jeff Schechter, aka “Shecky.”

Jeff has had the entrepreneurial bug his entire life. He started his first business right out of college, and over the years been involved in numerous businesses ventures. His love for real estate investing began in the 1980’s when he rehabbed 5 of his own residences before the term “house-hacking” even existed.

Since those early days of torn up kitchens and bathrooms, he’s bought and sold many properties and is an active investor to this day.  In addition to investing, he operates a private consulting practice.  He thrives on helping people realize their full potential…not just in business and investing, but in all aspects of life.

125: Scaling $29 into a $1.8M business in three years through drop shipping with Anton Kraly

    Let's talk drop shipping.

After graduating from college in 2006, Anton Kraly spent $25,000 to buy a delivery route to sell cookies in Merrick, N.Y., a Long Island community. But when Tim Ferriss’s book The Four Hour Workweek came out in 2007, Kraly rethought his business model, looking for an easier way to make a living. Investing $29 a month in an eCommerce hosting package, he put up an online store and started selling his cookies online at a site, called NYcookieshop.com, that he later sold. The new business quickly became more profitable than his delivery route. He and a business partner ran it while traveling in Thailand and Vietnam.

In 2013, he started Drop Ship Lifestyle to teach people how to create profitable eCommerce businesses by leveraging high-ticket drop shipping. Voted “Best eCommerce Course” by Shopify in 2018, Drop Ship Lifestyle is now the top online eCommerce coaching program and has helped more than 8,000 students in 25 countries to find freedom through entrepreneurship.
